Stephanie Kifowit Proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps, served the residents of the City of Aurora as Alderman for over nine years, and now as a full-time State Representative of the 84th House District serving the residents of Aurora, Montgomery, Naperville and Oswego. Stephanie and her husband Steve, an Army Veteran, have two children, Sabrina and Samuel. Sam is currently enlisted in the Navy, he graduated Boot Camp September 2020 and is stationed at the Dahlgren Naval Base in Dahlgren, Virginia.

Representative Kifowit is a proud alumna of Northern Illinois University and graduated with a B.S. in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration. She is currently serving on the following committees; State Government Administration (Chairperson); Veterans' Affairs (Chairperson); Appropriations-General Service (Vice-Chairperson); Revenue & Finance; and Public Utilities.
